My name is Nicole Carpenter and I attended Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, IL from 2017-2021. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in energy processes. During my senior year at SIU, I assisted and conducted research in increasing safety levels of operating quadcopter UAVs. After graduation, I am now an Associate Engineer in Fuel Systems for Caterpillar.
